Vendor Agreement
This Vendor Agreement ("Agreement") is made between SewaTransport.com ("Platform") and the Vendor ("Vendor"),
who agrees
to offer transport rental services on the Platform. By registering as a vendor and offering services through
SewaTransport.com, the
Vendor agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Vendor Eligibility & Registration
The Vendor must be legally authorized to offer transport rental services.
The Vendor must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration, including proof of business
registration, vehicle documentation, and any relevant permits or licenses.
The Vendor agrees to keep their account information, including contact details and payment information, up
to date.
2. Services Provided
The Vendor will offer the types of transport rental services listed in their profile or any other transport
type allowed by
the Platform.
The Vendor is responsible for providing high-quality, well-maintained vehicles and ensuring that all
vehicles meet local
safety and regulatory standards.
The Vendor agrees to complete jobs as described in their accepted bids, including adhering to the
agreed-upon dates,
times, and other conditions.
3. Bidding and Job Acceptance
The Vendor may place bids on job listings posted by users on the Platform. Bids should reflect the full cost
of the service,
including any additional fees.
Once a bid is accepted by a user, the Vendor is legally obligated to fulfil the contract under the terms
proposed in the bid.
Vendors may not cancel accepted bids without a valid reason and must notify the user and Platform
immediately in such
cases.
4. Payments and Fees
They are two payment models: Booking Fee Only or Full Payment, both of which are processed via the
Platform’s
payment gateway.
- Booking Fee Only : The customer pays a small booking fee, while the remaining balance is paid directly
to the
Vendor upon execution of the service.
- Full Payment : The full rental fee is paid to the Platform and released to the Vendor after the job is
completed.
A service fee (3-5% of the total job cost) will be deducted by the Platform before transferring the payment
to the Vendor.
Vendors are responsible for any taxes or legal obligations related to the income earned on the Platform.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Vendors may cancel a job if the customer fails to meet their obligations (e.g., non-payment, incorrect
information). In
such cases, the Vendor must inform the Platform immediately.
In the event of a job cancellation by the Vendor, any payments made by the customer will be refunded, and
the Vendor
may be subject to penalties depending on the reason for the cancellation.
If a user cancels the job after acceptance, the Vendor may be entitled to retain a portion of the booking
fee as per the
Platform’s cancellation policy.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors must maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers and the Platform.
Vendors are responsible for the timely and safe delivery of vehicles and services.
All vehicles must be insured and properly maintained to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations.
Vendors must respond promptly to user inquiries and job requests.
7. Reviews and Feedback
Users are encouraged to leave reviews and feedback after the completion of services.
The Vendor’s rating and feedback may impact their future visibility and job opportunities on the Platform.
Vendors agree not to solicit or manipulate reviews in any way that could lead to unfair or fraudulent
ratings.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between the Vendor and a customer, the Vendor agrees to work in good faith to
resolve the
issue.
The Platform may mediate disputes and will have the final decision on refund claims or service disputes.
Vendors agree to abide by the Platform’s decisions regarding dispute resolution.
9. Termination
The Platform reserves the right to terminate a vendor’s account if they fail to comply with the terms of
this Agreement,
provide poor service, or violate any legal obligations.
Vendors may terminate their participation on the Platform at any time by notifying the Platform in writing,
provided
there are no outstanding jobs or payments.
10. Liability and Indemnification
Vendors acknowledge that the Platform is not responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries that occur
during the
provision of transport services.
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform from any legal claims arising from their use of
the Platform,
including claims of negligence or non-performance.
11. Modifications
The Platform reserves the right to modify the terms of this Agreement at any time. Vendors will be notified
of significant
changes and will be required to accept the updated terms to continue using the Platform.
By registering as a Vendor on SewaTransport.com, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this
Agreement.
